FRANCESCA AZZONI: Bloom where you are planted

The meanings that a footprint leads to are manifold, from a common mark left on the ground,  developing it as a metaphor for features that characterize every individual.
Starting from these concepts the project “Bloom where you are planted” develops in its central theme: the signature left by an invented character, a flower.
Thinking about a possible alter ego that would leave a footprint, I imagined what kind of sign could leave a wild flower in a ostile environment.
In the consumed world where we live, flowers that grow between concrete are a strong symbol of hope and attraction to life, a factor that led me to choose this subject for the project.
